Road Crossing

This week we have been learning about crossing roads safely. There is so much to learn so we we still need a grownup with us on the busy roads.
Here is Mackenzie checking the road carefully. She is looking right up the road to see if there is danger before she crosses.

A dragon in the library

After hearing Gavin Bishop and Joy Cowley's awesome story about the dragon friendly school library. We decided to surprise Mrs Ross by bringing one of the story characters to life. Here we are with our dragon creation. We hope you are kind to our dragon.

Writing in Room 8
In Diary we are learning to write a story in sequence about our weekend. We are learning to put capitals and full stops in the right place and to use personal voice to make our stories interesting for you our audience.

My Sister's Birthday

Yesterday it was my sister's birthday. We had KFC and other food. My brother told me to go and get him a piece of chicken. I went and got it. Then I went outside to eat there, because at church we have to eat outside. The adults have to eat inside. If we eat inside we will break the chairs. We played rugby and cricket. Then we played touch. Then we played bullrush. We went inside. Then we played donkey. Then we played put the tail on the donkey. Then we played sleeping lions. Then we went to the tennis courts and we played tennis.

Finn's Cool Weekend

In the weekend I went to my friend's house. Alex and me played play-station 2. We completed five levels. We got 14 now people but then I had to go home. We had pizza for tea but then...dad came home! He scoffed up his dinner. Then he went on the computer. He deletted my wizards file and I earned 15.000 dollars for the family of wizards. I can't play it now!
