In reading we have been reading a Shared Book called Fish Head Soup. We have done a lot of work about this story learning how to find the main idea, think inferentially about the characters, and consider cause and effect. Our next step was to follow instructions to make some soup that was not fish head soup. As we followed the recipe we underlined all the verbs and showed with graphics on a mini poster what the action is, and which noun matches which verb.We also made some yummy soup, which even had vegetables from Mrs Richard's garden. Lilly's mum very kindly brought us some yummy bread.
